Nevada Rancher Cliven Bundy Arrested By FBI In Portland

Bundy, 74, was booked into the downtown Multnomah County jail at 10:54 p.m.

Cliven Bundy, the Nevada rancher who touched off one armed showdown with federal authorities and applauded another started in Oregon by his sons, was arrested late Wednesday at Portland International Airport and faces federal charges related to the 2014 standoff at his ranch.

Bundy, 74, was booked into the downtown Multnomah County jail at 10:54 p.m.

He faces a conspiracy charge to interfere with a federal officer — the same charge lodged against two of his sons, Ammon and Ryan, for their role in the Jan. 2 takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Burns. He also faces weapons charges.

The Bundy Ranch Facebook page reported Cliven Bundy was surrounded by SWAT officers and detained after his arrival from Nevada.

He was arrested at 10:10 p.m., authorities said.

Update: Oregon Militiaman Murdered by Cops; “He Had His Hands in the Air”

Daughter: “He was shot in the face”

I want the world to know how my father was murdered today. His hands were in the air and he was shot in the face by the American authorities. Ammon Bundy reported there are 6 witnesses to this evil.

Posted by Thara Tenney on Tuesday, January 26, 2016

Her testimony was echoed by another eyewitness, Victoria Sharp, who was in the car with Finicum when the group were pulled over by cops and federal agents.

Sharp claims that Finicum put his hands out of the car window and asked the police to allow the women to leave the car.

“They shot at him, but they missed him,” said Sharp, adding that the group then attempted to drive away in the car but were shot at again by police.

“When we crashed and stopped for a second, he got out of the car, he had his hands in the air, he’s like ‘just shoot me then’….and they did, they shot him dead,” said Sharp.

“He was just walking, with his hands in the air, I swear to God, and they shot him dead and after he was down on the ground, shot him three more times,” said Sharp, adding that the vehicle was again “bombarded with bullets” as well as tear gas rounds.

Sharp says that the group tried to “find something white” so they could display it as a sign of surrender. She challenges news reports that only six shots were fired, asserting, “they shot at least 120 shots altogether.”

Sharp also claims that none of the individuals in the car pulled out a gun at any point and that the incident was an “ambush” with “FBI snipers in the trees” surrounding the vehicle.

“They had their hands out of the window to show they were not firing, nothing, we showed no aggression at all,” said Sharp.

Sharp’s testimony is contradicted by another individual who said he spoke to Ammon Bundy’s security guard and that LaVoy Finicum had “charged” at police officers after he exited the vehicle.

Protesters who remain at the occupied federal building have vowed to continue their stance as authorities continue to insist they want a “peaceful” resolution to the matter.

Father Of Oregon Victim: “How Does He Have That Much Time To Kill That Many People?”

Relatives dumbfounded over security failure

by Steve Watson | | October 2, 2015

The father of one of the shooting victims in Oregon gave an impassioned account of what happened inside the classroom at Umpqua Community College yesterday, according to his daughter, expressing disbelief that the gunman had as much time as he did to execute students.

The father and brother of Anastasia Boylan, who was seriously wounded in the mass shooting, recounted what Anastasia had told them right as she was heading into emergency spinal surgery.

Mr Boylan noted that his daughter verified other accounts that the shooter specifically targeted Christians.

“‘Are you a Christian?’ he would ask them. And ‘if you’re a Christian, stand up.’ And they would stand up. And he said, ‘good, because you’re a Christian, you’re going to see God in just about one second.’ And then shot and killed them.” Boylan noted, adding that the professor of the class was the first person killed immediately when the gunman entered.

Mr Boylan questioned why the shooter had so much time before he was stopped.

Boylan was clearly upset and utterly confused as to why the shooter was able to go down a line of people, asking questions about their religion and reloading the gun after killing people.

The answer, of course, is because the college is a gun free zone. It had a rule in place prohibiting guns on campus, despite state law allowing for concealed carry. The shooter no doubt knew this and specifically targeted it for this reason.

A former security guard who worked at the college has exclusively revealed to Infowars that the college voted against hiring armed security guards just last year and that inadequate lockdown procedures ensured the campus was a “deathtrap” for potential victims in an active shooter situation.

As Infowars also reported earlier, an Air Force veteran with a concealed carry license was prepared to violate the ‘gun free zone’ rule and attempt to apprehend the shooter, but he was stopped from doing so by college staff.

Another Tense Bundy-Like Showdown Over Federal Land Is Brewing — And This Time It’s In A ‘Blue’ State

The federal government’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is once again sparking controversy – and it’s doing so on the one-year anniversary of the Bundy Ranch standoff.

This time, it’s the Galice Mining District near Grants Pass, Oregon, that is shaping up as a battle between the all-powerful federal agency and Sugar Pine miners. Sugar Pine is part of the Galice district.

Many Americans outside of the Western United States were unfamiliar with the BLM prior to the controversy over Cliven Bundy’s ranch, when they learned that approximately 50 percent of the land out West is owned by the federal government.

The land dispute between the residents of Josephine County near Galice Creek and BLM officials has been brewing for several years – and is about to come to a head. The BLM has ordered Sugar Pine miners to cease and desist all operations and remove all equipment from their claims by April 25, but the majority of the mining claim holders have refused to budge. Oath Keepers and militia group members have been called in to help them hold their ground.

The Galice Mining District has been in operation since the 1870s and is regarded as one of the longest running operations in the United States. The BLM reportedly claims that the Galice miners have no surface mineral rights to the area, but the miners say they have documents that grandfathered-in their rights.

The Galice Creek claims held by the miners predate the establishment of the BLM, the miners say.

“We defend the Constitution,” Mary Emerick with Oath Keepers told KDRV. “ … And we are here just to make sure that they receive their Fifth Amendment rights which is due process.”

The Josephine County mines have reportedly produced more than 10 million ounces of gold since panning in the region began. Geologists estimate that only about 10 percent of the gold which exists in the Galice area has been removed – a fact which further entices miners to fight for the land.

“We’ve sent them those letters,” BLM’s Jim Whittington told KDRV. “They also have the right to appeal our notice, that it requires either a plan of operation or notice, and some informal contacts with their lawyer…it sounds like they may appeal. So if they appeal, that starts another administrative appeal process.”

Josephine County Sheriff Dave Daniel told the media that he has been acting as a “mediator” for the BLM and the Galice Creek miners, and that the only reason he and his deputies would step in is if the situation escalates and a safety issues arises.

Sugar Pine miners asked the local Oathkeepers for help, and they in turn put out a nationwide bulletin. It read:

“If you are a true Militia, true III%, Oathkeeper etc. then you are needed. If you can get away from home to help, NOW IS THE TIME,” says the alert issued by Chris Langer, a firearms instructor and barbecue restaurant owner from Wisconsin. “Just like Bundy ranch, the BLM is out of order! SHUT DOWN THE FOREIGN CORPORATION NOW! The miners need you!!”

Arizona state militia member Blaine Cooper was among those on his way to Galice Creek.

“That’s what being an American is all about,” he said in a video posted on YouTube. “We don’t allow our neighbor to be enslaved or beaten or tortured by government jackboots because they want to steal our land and our resources to keep us under their thumb.”

Oath Keepers Set Up Camp Outside Oregon Mining Operation Battling BLM

A security operation for the protection of Constitutional Rights
